How to Gain Muscle Fast: The Top Five Proven Tips

Lots of people especially those “skinny and hard gainers” are searching for easy ways and proven tips on how to gain muscle weight but most of the time they got ripped off by bogus information and expensive supplements. Now I’d like to share some useful and valuable tips that certainly will be a huge help to your search.

How to Gain Muscle Tip 1:

Do bodybuilding training with just enough amounts of time and frequency. There’s no such thing as perfect or right amount of time but “enough” only means what your body can do without causing too much stress and exhaustion.

We don’t need to over train our body in order to gain muscle weight fast. It’s not just the way it works. The truth is our muscles will only build up and gain weight when we train for predetermined periods and allow it to recover before we do the next training.

How to Gain Muscle Tip 2

Eat the right calories and avoid the wrong ones. I’m pretty sure you’ve heard this tip several times but this is the truth and there’s no really other way around it. If you are serious on your endeavor on how you’re going to gain muscle, then please do yourself a favor; eat enough amounts of right calories. Meaning eat food with good nutrients and avoid junk foods.

If you wish to ensure that your muscles have enough fuel to support your workouts, train intensely, recover from workout to workout and, let’s not forget, grow NEW muscle, you have to keep track of what you are eating every day. There is no way around it. This is the number one reason why skinny guys never gain weight or why anybody, for that matter, will not make the quality gains that they so desperately strive for.

How to Gain Muscle Tip 3

Get enough sleep as much as you can. You may ask how sleep affects building big muscles. Our growth hormone levels rise 30-45 minutes after falling asleep and longer quality sleep releases testosterone that helps a lot in gaining muscles that’s why it’s the enough sleep is the primary factor that affects in building muscles.

Also, it is rumored that every hour of sleep you get before midnight has the equivalent affect of 2 hours sleep. So if you go to bed at 10 pm and wake up 6 am, you will feel as if you have just slept 10 hours (not the actual 8 hours). I have to admit that I have experienced higher quality sleep going to bed earlier.

Don’t forget the power of getting naps. It’s indeed a huge help and that’s what professional bodybuilders do regularly. They say that a 20 minute nap in the middle of the day is already equivalent of a 2-hour sleep.

Remember, our muscles grow when we are resting and definitely a powerful tool that costs us nothing. When we are sleeping, this is the best opportunity to let our muscles rest and grow.

How to Gain Muscle Tip 4

Don’t train above your threshold. When we train, we must make sure we are comfortable and able to do it without putting too much stress on our muscles.

Our body will adapt muscularly, neurologically and structurally but it will stop and end there and our muscle will not grow larger. Even if you are increasing reps and sets, the muscles will grow minimally, but there will be no sufficient reason for them to grow further because you are still within your natural threshold.

So if you want to gain 3 to 6 pounds of muscle a year, just keep following conventional training programs because they are not made for extraordinary gains.

How to Gain Muscle Tip 5

Never ever rely on supplements to gain muscles. It’s a sad fact and we all knew (but quite hard to accept) that supplements will not stimulate muscle growth but exercise will.

Maybe supplements can make a difference around 5 to 10% at best assuming we have enough sleep, good training and eating good food but nothing can make us more successful by taking our fitness to the next level by training, good nutrition and enough sleep.

Putting chemicals, artificial colors, flavoring, sugars, sweeteners and preservatives into your body basically turns it into a toxic waste dump! And did you know that this toxic waste loves to attach itself to your fat stores, making it even harder to get rid of body fat? And can you imagine how much harder it will be to build massive muscle in a toxic environment? What goes in must come out!

Put garbage in and garbage will come out in the form of decreased energy, slow recovery, poor appetite, poor sleep and poor attitude – all elements critical for muscle building.

There are other lots of good tips you can find on how to gain muscle fast and what I’ve shared above are just some of them but proven to be effective for anyone who’s desiring to build a good body shape. But of course discipline, determination and commitment will be your main keys to achieve your dream and stop searching on how to gain muscle once and for all.
